The Cut: Golf Caddie
You How far have I got?
Chase 148 to carry the bunker. You’ve come up short here twice this month. It’s the 7 — not the 8 your ego wants.

He remembers. That’s the whole thing.

Golf is the only sport where you carry your
whole history in your head.

Every hole you’ve blown. Every shot that came up short. Every tip that helped for a week and then vanished. You’re out there between your ears, trying to remember what you’re supposed to be working on.

Every other sport gives you someone on the sideline. Tour pros have a caddie with the book — the yardages, the tendencies, the course plan, the history. You have a yardage guide and whatever you can remember from your last lesson.

Chase is not a GPS app. He’s not a stat tracker. He’s the caddie who actually knows you — because he’s watched every round, read every hole, and remembered every pattern since the first time you played.

Known

Ask him anything.
He’s been watching.

These are real conversations Chase has. Each one draws from at least three data sources — the kind of answer no single-source app can give.

He’s been watching the same golfer for 47 rounds. See what he knows.

Canned demonstration using a sample golfer’s data. Your Chase will know your game.

There

From where you’re actually standing.

Not from the tee box. Not from a course diagram. From where your ball is, right now — with everything Chase already knows about this hole.

You Can I carry the corner on 12?
Chase 219 to clear the trees on the inside, 235 to reach the short grass. Your driver carries 241 — but only 3 of your last 12 drives cleared 235. The other nine left you blocked or in the trees. Hit it 220 down the wide side. You’re bogey-free here every time you kept it out of the trees and double every time you didn’t.
1
Live yardage from your position
Not the tee box yardage. From exactly where you’re standing — carry to the bunker, carry to clear the hazard, flag distance.
2
Your history on this specific hole
How many times you’ve played it, your scoring average, where you’ve lost strokes, what you hit off the tee last time.
3
27,000+ courses in the database
Course geometry, hazard positions, green centres. Search by name when you start a round.
4
Your carries, not generic averages
He knows your 7-iron carries 162, not 170. Recommendations based on the club you actually hit.
Sees

However you golf, he keeps up.

Chase doesn’t care how you play. He logs it, learns from it, and connects it to everything else in your game.

Rounds on the course
Stroke, match, stableford, skins. Any format — Chase tracks hole-by-hole and never forgets a double.
Simulator sessions
Snap a photo of your launch monitor screen. Any monitor with a screen works. He tracks carries and trends across sessions.
Playing partners
Tag your group. Chase can see their public rounds — useful before a match, and honest about what the card says.
Progress over time
Handicap trend, club distances, scoring by hole type. Not vanity metrics — the ones that explain why your index moved or didn’t.
Hole memory
Every hole you’ve ever played is in his book. He knows your nemesis holes and the difference between them and your birdie holes.
Course leaderboard
See how you stack up against friends on the same course. Public rounds, real scores — not the number someone tells you at the bar.
Honest

He doesn’t flatter.
He has the receipts.

The Brag-Check
“You said 82. You logged 91. One of you is lying and it isn’t the app.”
Chase  ·  every round, on record

Chase is honest by design. He’s not trying to make you feel good about your game. He’s trying to make it better. That means telling you that hole 14 is not your birdie hole — no matter how many times you say it is. It means pointing out that you’ve been aggressive after birdies all year and it’s cost you.

No flattery. One honest read of your game, every time you ask.

The Ego’s Birdie Hole
“You’ve birdied it once in eleven tries. Your scoring average on 14 is 5.4 on a par 5. You remember the one eagle putt from two years ago. The card remembers the four doubles since. It’s not your birdie hole. It’s your ego’s birdie hole.”

The Nemesis, Named
“It’s not hole 6, it’s the second shot on 6. Your tee ball’s fine. But you lay back out of fear and leave 165 — exactly the yardage you’re worst from. Hit driver. Leave 120. Hole 6 becomes a par.”

The Arc

He gets sharper
every round you play.

Round 1, he’s meeting you. Round 5, he’s noticed something. Round 20, he knows your game better than you do.

1
Round 1  ·  Cold start
He introduces himself.
Chase asks about your typical miss, your stock distances, what you’ve been working on. “Tell me one thing about your game that drives you crazy.”
Round 1, he won’t blow you away. He doesn’t know you yet. That’s honest. Most apps pretend otherwise.
5
Round 5  ·  He’s watching
He’s noticed the pattern.
Five rounds in, your scoring data has a shape. He’s seen the hole you keep donating on, the yardage you keep getting wrong, the shot costing you a stroke a round. “You’re plus-2.3 on approach from 160–175. That’s the number hole 6 always leaves you. Here’s what I think is happening.”
20
Round 20  ·  Full picture
He knows your game.
By now, he’s read every tendency you have. “You play a draw you don’t fully trust, and your handicap’s stuck because your par 5s got worse while everything else improved. You get aggressive after birdies and it costs you. I know you.”

Every round you play, he has one more conversation in the book. Your next round is round one of that arc.

Why it exists

Built because I needed it.
Not because the category was trending.

I played a lot of golf. Went to the sim three times a week. Watched every YouTube video. Bought the gadgets. Did the drills. I was drowning in data with no direction — because nothing connected any of it, and nothing remembered what I’d been working on.

What I actually needed was a caddie. Someone who had the book on my game — my tendencies, my miss patterns, what clicked last Tuesday — and could pull it up every time I had a question. No app did that. So I built one.

Chase isn’t trying to replace your coach. He’s the thing you have between lessons, between rounds, between sets at the sim. The caddie who never goes home.

Frequently asked

Questions we get every day.

How is this different from a GPS app?
A GPS app tells you the yardage. Chase tells you the yardage and reminds you that you’ve come up short on this hole twice this month, and that you want the 7 — not the 8 your ego is reaching for. He knows the hole. He knows your history on it. A GPS app has neither.
How is this different from a stat tracker like Arccos?
Arccos measures and shows you dashboards. It doesn’t talk to you, it doesn’t know your tendencies, and it can’t tell you what to do on the next shot. Chase is a caddie with your data loaded — not a scoreboard. Ask him anything, mid-round or between rounds, and he answers from your actual history.
What does Chase actually remember?
Every round, every hole, every club you hit from a given distance, patterns in your scoring, tendencies by hole type, what he’s told you before, and whether it worked. The more you play, the more he knows. By round 20, he’ll tell you things about your game you haven’t noticed yet.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The free tier includes 3 rounds per month, 2 sim sessions per month, and 100 messages with Chase. No card required to start — download and see if he’s useful before you commit to anything.
How does the 7-day trial work?
Tap “Start Free Trial” inside the app. You get 7 full days of Pro — no restrictions. To cancel, go to iOS Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions and cancel before the 7 days are up. You won’t be charged.
Does it work on all courses?
Chase works on 27,000+ courses. Search by name when you start a round. If yours isn’t in the database, contact us at cut.coach/support and we’ll add it.
Does it work for match play, stableford, and skins?
Yes. Log in any format — stroke, match, stableford, skins. Chase keeps up however you play.
Can I use it with a launch monitor?
Yes. Snap a photo of your launch monitor screen and Chase reads it. Any monitor with a screen works — Trackman, Foresight, SkyTrak, Garmin R10, Rapsodo, and others. He tracks your carries, dispersion, and trends across sessions and connects them to your on-course results.
Is my data private?
Yes. Encrypted at rest and in transit. We don’t sell, share, or resell your data. Export everything as JSON any time. Delete your account and it’s a full data wipe — no retention.
Android?
iOS first. Android is on the roadmap — follow our Instagram and we’ll post when it ships.

Your next round is the first one he’ll remember.
